A peek inside Junior Kindergarten

Thomasville Times-Enterprise, Staff Report
THOMASVILLE - The three Junior Kindergarten classes at Brookwood School have been very busy learning and having a lot of fun along the way! From estimation and learning about textures to painting the newest letter-of-the-week learned, the members of the class of 2035 are absorbing lessons through hands-on play.

Mrs. Duncan’s class tackled the concept of estimation by guessing how many bouncy balls were in the estimation jar.

Mrs. Crocker’s class used manipulatives to design creative structures and painted with Legos to learn the letter “L.”

Mrs. Braswell’s class used STEAM principles to construct a chain that stretched across the whole classroom, and learned about texture by creating artwork with forks.
