Baseball Tops Southland Academy, Sixth Win in a Row & 1-0 in Region!
Brookwood Baseball extended its winning streak to six games on Tuesday afternoon, taking the Region opener over Southland Academy by a final score of 3-2. The win was the Warriors' sixth win in a row to improve to 7-3 on the season and now sit at 1-0 in Region play.
Chris May and Jacob Lauderdale both went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Harper McLendon got the win on the mound. He pitched a complete game, scattering 3 hits and 2 walks to go with 6 strikeouts and 0 earned in his 7 innings of work.
The Raiders come to Thomasville Thursday afternoon for a doubleheader on Brookwood's campus at Strickland Field, completing the 3-game Region series.
