Brookwood Soccer Sweeps Worth County with 2 shutouts

Brookwood Soccer took both games over Worth County Monday night, allowing no goals in the process. The Warrior boys won 5-0 while the Lady Warriors took the first game of the night with a 2-0 win. Both games showed suffocating defense and balanced offense from the home teams at Warrior Stadium.

Hendley Bryan scored both goals in the Girls game off of 2 assists from Ryan Gaston. The Lady Warrior defense was nearly flawless, allowing no shots on goal.

In the second game of the night, the Warriors jumped out to a commanding 4-0 lead before the first half horn had sounded. Nathan Yokley, Griffin King, Robert Gallagher, and Cutter Waldrep all found the back of the net. King added one more in the second half for good measure and the final 5-0 score. Emmett Miles led the defense from the backline, while Charlie Sinclair pitched a shutout in goal.
