Lady Warriors Hoops Headed to Playoffs as #2 Seed!

Brookwood Lady Warrior basketball finished the Region Tournment Friday night as the Runner-up, falling in the AAA-3 Championship game to the Deerfield-Windsor Knights by a final score of 41-29. The Lady Warriors fought back to make it a tight game after trailing by 18 at halftime.

Brookwood reached the Championship game after a win in the Semifinal over Southland Academy on Thursday, 47-36. The girls were led by Erin Lewis with 6 rebounds and a timely 3-pointer in the 4th Quarter. Christy James had 6 steals and Ella Grace Squires had 3 blocked shots.

The Lady Warriors advance to the AAA State Playoffs as a #2-seed and will play #3-seed Westminster School of Augusta. The game will be Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in Atlanta at Holy Spirit Prep. Holy Spirit Prep is the #1-seed and will play #4 Westfield School.
