Warrior Golf & Tennis Have New Coaches!

This Spring, the Brookwood Golf and Tennis teams will both be under new leadership with some familiar faces. Wallace Marsh will transition from coaching Tennis to leading Golf, while Tom Harrison becomes the Head Coach of Tennis.

Wallace Marsh, Head Golf Coach
Marsh played golf at Warren County High School in McMinnville, TN.  Though he played different sports at the collegiate level, he is very much aware of what goes into developing a successful golf program.  Wallace's sister was a standout golfer in the state of Tennessee, ultimately signing Division I scholarship at Tennessee Tech. Though Wallace is new to the Brookwood Golf program, he understands its success and tradition.  His brother-in-law, Lee Benton (2005), played golf at Birmingham Southern, and his sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Benton (2015), played at Sewanee. Wallace looks forward to the 2020 season and continuing to develop the program. Warrior Golf returns their top six scorers from last year's Region Champion team, which finished third at the GISA State Match.

Tom Harrison, Head Tennis Coach
Tom is a graduate of Florida State University where he played football. He has been USTA league captain and competed in several leagues and tournaments. Tom served as president of the Glen Arven Tennis Association for ten years. He is a USTA tournament director and has directed the annual rotary and Glen Arven Country Club junior tournaments. Tom is a partner with Lanigan and Associates P.C. He is the father of two state champion tennis players, Thomas (2018) and Alden (2021). Warrior Tennis returns a talented core, including seniors Andrew Cooper and Alex Kadel with juniors Nic Kadel and Alden Harrison. They will look to repeat as Region Champions and contend at both the State Tournaments individually and as a team.
