Warrior Basketball Collects Wins to Start Season

The Warriors (1-1) pulled away from the Panthers after halftime for a 56-43 win. JP Chapman and Harrison Owens led the way in scoring, finishing with 16 and 13 points respectively. On the first night of the Tip-Off, the boys suffered a loss at the hands of Colquitt County, 51-70. The Warriors trailed 46-53 with under 6 minutes to play but wilted down the stretch.
In last week's Thanksgiving Tip-Off, the Lady Warriors (2-1) ran away from North Florida Christian and Chattahoochee County in two impressive blowout wins. On the first night, Brookwood handled NFC, 76-35. Thirteen different Lady Warriors got in on the scoring action. The following evening, Brookwood put away Chattahoochee County with dominant stretches in the 2nd and 3rd quarters for a final score of 48-26. Erin Lewis and Christy James led the scoring column, with 12 and 10 points respectively on the night.
The teams are at home tonight, hosting Terrell Academy. Lady Warriors tip at 6:30 p.m. with the Boys to follow at 8:00 p.m.
