Girls Running Strong

THOMASVILLE - Brookwood School’s Girls Running Strong (CRS) program is made up of 4th and 5th grade girls that meet after school every Wednesday throughout the year. The mission of GRS is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident while integrating running. Running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and to build confidence through  accomplishment. Service projects have also been incorporated into the program such selling lemonade for childhood cancer with Alex’s Lemonade Stand. The girls are taught to be kind toward others and the importance of giving back to their community.
