Warrior Alumni Update: Rachel Cooper

Rachel Cooper '17 recently helped the University of Mary Washington Women's Tennis team to their 16th consecutive Capital Athletic Conference title. They defeated Christopher Newport in the championship, with Cooper taking a 6-0, 6-1 decision in singles play.
 
The Lady Eagles advanced to the 2nd Round of the NCAA Division III Tournament after defeating Franciscan University in the 1st Round. Cooper clinched the win with a 6-0, 6-0 score in singles play.
 
UMW ended their year 21-5 as a team, falling in the 2nd Round to Johns Hopkins. Rachel was named the CAC Rookie of the Year last season as a Freshman and continued her strong play this year as a Sophomore.
