The Warrior dedicated to Harrer
THOMASVILLE --
The Brookwood School Class of 2019 dedicated their senior yearbook, The Warrior, to art teacher Mrs.
Maureen Harrer. Mrs. Harrer has worked at Brookwood for 17 years and holds many roles in addition to being
the Art Department Chairman and art teacher. She leads Girls Running Strong, paints sets for drama
productions, and aids in annual events like the Brookwood School Auction and Empty Bowls Full Hearts.
Mrs. Harrer also serves as the Fine Arts Coordinator, Prom Sponsor, and an Eleventh Grade Homeroom
teacher. She is dedicated to her students and their art and spends countless hours readying exhibits for the
Deep South Fair, Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival, and the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Ga.
The Class of 2019 affectionately refers to Mrs. Harrer as their "class mom," as she has been involved with many
class members since their Lower School years and chaperoned many of their field trips growing up, including
those to Williamsburg, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Spain, and other parts of Europe. They are proud to
dedicate this year's The Warrior to Mrs. Maureen Harrer.
