Warrior Soccer Ready to Start Season on the Road

The Lady Warrior and Warrior Soccer program will start their respective seasons on the road tomorrow at Tattnall Square Academy in Macon.

The Girls will start the season with kickoff at 5:30 p.m. and the Boys will follow at 7:30 p.m. against the Trojans.

The Lady Warriors return a strong nucleus from last year's Region Runner-Up team which fell in the 1st Round of the GISA Playoffs against TCS-Dublin. The veteran team will be led by two seniors, Peyton Middleton and Caroline Wolff, as well as a core group of juniors that includes Holland Walker, Mollie Vick, Caroline Elkins, Anna Vick, and Madison Butler. The first chance to catch the Lady Warriors at home will be next Monday against Colquitt County at 5:30 p.m.

The Warriors return experience and depth, featuring a senior class of Bridger Middleton, Colin Grimsley, Jacob Parrott, Jonathan Burns, William Lee, and Vincent Yokley. Multiple underclassmen who made All-Region last year return as well, including Tyson Joyner, Emmett Miles, and Ben Filston. They will look to build on last year's success and compete in this year's Region against Deerfield-Windsor and Valwood. The first chance to catch the Warriors at home will be next Monday against Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m.
