Giving Back

Wish List

Brookwood is constantly striving to maintain and develop the best possible facilities and resources for our students.

The purpose for sharing this list with our community is two-fold. First, we want our community to know what we have in the works to improve Brookwood. Secondly, we need to fund each of these projects through donations. Bear in mind that all capital projects are funded outside of tuition.

Please consider donating to one or more of the following forthcoming  projects to bring them to a reality:

List of 10 items.

  • New Dining Center ($6,000,000)

Food is essential for life and good food in a conducive atmosphere will add significantly to the daily life of our students. This will be an exceptional space for food and fellowship for Brookwood students.  The dining center will have an on-site chef whose goal is to prepare healthy and flavorful food that will appeal to all ages of Brookwood students and meet all dietary needs.  Further, the dining center should seek to serve as much local and Georgia grown food as feasible, with dishes reflective of the distinctive culture of South Georgia and the Southeast.
  • New 15-Passenger Mini-Bus and 54-Athletics Bus ($200,000)

Brookwood has excellent field trips, and athletic and other interscholastic programs. As the interest in these programs continues to grow, so does the need for reliable and comfortable transportation. This project is already partially funded.
  • Flexible Classroom Furniture ($150,000)

One classroom each in the Lower, Middle, and Upper School buildings currently have  furniture designed specifically for collaborative learning. We seek to break the traditional classroom to spaces which foster innovation. Over the course of the next several years, we would like to fully outfit each of Brookwood’s classrooms with new furniture. This project will be partially (or entirely!) funded by the 2019 auction. We hope to see all of you there!
  • Indoor Athletic Practice Facility ($150,000)

Athletics is an essential aspect of the Brookwood experience! While we have exceptional facilities for most of our sports, we need an indoor facility that will primarily serve softball and baseball practice. This project is already partially funded by the Brookwood Booster Club
  • Computer Network ($100,000)

Our computer network provides the entire technology infrastructure for our campus and students. This system is rapidly aging and replacement is needed to maintain our commitment to 21st century instructional technology and Apple Distinguished School standards.
  • Sweeper for Athletic Fields ($20,000)

Brookwood’s fields are works of art and need constant attention to maintain their look and quality. The used sweeper that we seek is the same one used by the Atlanta Braves to maintain their fields and is half the cost. This project is partially funded
  • Security ($15,000)

We have made tremendous advancements in campus security in the past several years. We will continue to press forward with additional cameras and locks.

  • Tables and Chairs in the Beverly Athletic Center ($15,000)

As we continue to expand the use of our campus, we want to activate our campus as much as possible. Additional tables and Chairs for Beverly will help to facilitate more events in that building.
  • Utility Vehicle/Gator ($5,000)

We are proud of our beautiful campus and need a new (or new-to-us) vehicle to maintain our fields and grounds.
  • Ping Pong Tables ($400/ each)

The addition of ping-pong tables in the Beverly athletic Center has been a hit this year! However, we could use a few more.
