THOMASVILLE - Brookwood School third graders participated in an exciting tower building challenge as a collaborative learning experience. Groups of students in the class of 2030 were tasked with building a tower out of gummy bears and toothpicks. Each group had just three minutes to develop a plan and five minutes to build their structure. The goal of the exercise was to build the tallest and most sturdy tower. The activity taught them critical thinking, the importance of teamwork, and the value of differing ideas and perspectives.
