Clay Target Hosts Tournament, Takes 3rd Place

Brookwood Clay Target hosted a meet at the Meadows Gun Club in Macon this past Saturday. Over 75 athletes competed. Brookwood came in 3rd overall as a team with Callan Walker placing 3rd individually for the Varsity division and Clark Carter placing 3rd in JV division. Max Powers, a freshman, shot an impressive 96/100 in sporting clays- the 4th highest score. Brookwood had 20 athletes competing in varsity and JV events. Way to go Warriors!

It was a beautiful day with great volunteer participation from our parents. A special thank you to Jeanna Bryant who coordinated all concessions and lunch from Chick-fil-A.  Also, a huge thank you to our coach, Mike Simpson!  He is developing some outstanding athletes who are developing skills they will be able to use for decades after their high school careers.
