Brookwood girls roll in tourney opener
THOMASVILLE — Juniors Jordan Burns and Erin Lewis each scored 12 points, and senior Holland Walker added nine as the Brookwood Lady Warriors romped past North Florida Christian 76-35 Monday in the Thanksgiving Tipoff at Brookwood School.
Thirteen Lady Warriors scored in the win.
J.P. Chapman poured in 28 points, and Sam Barrett added 10, but the Brookwood boys fell 70-51 to Colquitt County.
The Brookwood girls and boys faced Chattahoochee County on Tuesday night and will return to action December 3 at home against Terrell Academy.
