Quote from Coach Foy: "Great performance yesterday. We looked strong in all areas. The most impressive thing about the game, and a big step up from last year, was the mentality. We were competitive in every situation. Holland Walker and Emma Szwarc were outstanding in everything they did. Great start to the season."

Quote from Coach Foy: "Unfortunately the result did not go our way last night, but like I told the boys, I am proud of how we played. We tried to implement our style of play against a very strong, experienced team in their 9th game of the season. There was a lot of positives to take from the game. For portions we played with Colquitt and outplayed them, experience of playing at that intensity and level is what won them the game. I have not been this excited for the potential of our soccer program since I arrived. We have shifted our mentality and are confident we can take steps forward. It was nice to see our boys be so positive after the game despite the result. They can see what we are trying to achieve and can feel the growth. Yesterday was a great learning lesson for us, something we can grow from and use as a platform to keep improving."
Both Varsity Soccer teams return to action at Valwood next Thursday on March 7th.
