Lady Warriors Hoops Dominant in Playoff Win!

The Brookwood Lady Warriors won their 1st Round Playoff game last night against Notre Dame Academy, 69-32.
 
Brookwood jumped out to a dominant 32-8 lead early in the 2nd Quarter behind hot shooting from the outside. By halftime the lead expanded to 49-14, combining tough defense and 7 made 3-pointers as a team. 
 
Erin Lewis finished with 17 points and Jordan Thompson had 14 in the first State Tournament win for Brookwood Girls' Basketball since 2013. 
 
Up next is Friday's AAA State Quarterfinal against Pinewood Christian. That game will be at 4:30 p.m, hosted by neutral site Stratford Academy in Macon. A win would clinch the Lady Warriors' first Final Four appearance since 2008.
