Giving Back

Wish List

Brookwood is constantly striving to maintain and develop the best possible facilities and resources for our students.

The purpose for sharing this list with our community is two-fold. First, we want our community to know what we have in the works to improve Brookwood. Secondly, we need to fund each of these projects through donations. Bear in mind that all capital projects are funded outside of tuition.

Please consider donating to one or more of the following forthcoming  projects to bring them to a reality:

List of 8 items.

  • Ping Pong Tables ($400/ each)

The addition of ping-pong tables in the Beverly athletic Center has been a hit this year! However, we could use a few more.

  • Founders Quad Landscaping ($5,000)

The Founders Quad is in need of improvement.
  • Security ($15,000)

Our campus is safe but there are a few additional upgrades we would like to implement.
  • Flexible Classroom Furniture ($50,000)

One classroom each in the Lower, Middle, and Upper School buildings currently have  furniture designed specifically for collaborative learning. We seek to break the traditional classroom to spaces which foster innovation. Over the course of the next several years, we would like to fully outfit each of Brookwood’s classrooms with new furniture. This project has been partially funded by the 2019 Auction, but we hope to outfit additional classrooms in the near future.
  • 54-Passenger Bus ($150,000)

Brookwood has excellent field trips, and athletic and other interscholastic programs. As the interest in these programs continues to grow, so does the need for reliable and comfortable transportation. This project is already partially funded.
  • Indoor Athletic Practice Facility ($150,000)

Athletics is an essential aspect of the Brookwood experience! While we have exceptional facilities for most of our sports, we need an indoor facility that will primarily serve softball and baseball practice. This project is already partially funded by the Brookwood Booster Club.
  • Flowers Hall Renovations ($150,000)

At the heart of our campus, Flowers Hall is in need of a make over to use the space more efficiently for the front office, administration, and students.
  • New Dining Center

Food is essential for life and good food in a conducive atmosphere will add significantly to the daily life of our students. This will be an exceptional space for food and fellowship for Brookwood students.  The dining center will have an on-site chef whose goal is to prepare healthy and flavorful food that will appeal to all ages of Brookwood students and meet all dietary needs.  Further, the dining center should seek to serve as much local and Georgia grown food as feasible, with dishes reflective of the distinctive culture of South Georgia and the Southeast.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
