Sophomore Class Luncheon And Movie
Details: On May 5, the sophomores in English/Writing Lab will enjoy an luncheon and movie at the home of Emily Claire Worthey.  The film, Dead Poets Society, will be the basis of the students' final exam.  The film has many themes pertinent to adolescents, and after discussion using a study guide developed by Mrs. Larson, students should be able to choose a topic and enjoy writing a good final paper.  Lissa Worthey and sophomore parents are providing the lunch.  Teachers attending are Mrs. Callaway, Mrs. Larson, Mrs. Bond, and Senora Hunt.  Sophomores are winding up their year in English by studying Macbeth and Much Ado about Nothing.  Students are reading and acting out scenes from the Macbeth.
