Description: "Moms and Dads in the Know" is a new parent mentoring program sponsored by the Brookwood Parent Council at the direction of Mike Notaro. Navigating a new school can be a difficult task for students and parents alike. Parent Council recognizes the challenges that entering our Brookwood family can present in the first year on campus. Any family coming to Brookwood for the first time between Kindergarten and 12th grades will be introduced to a mentoring family at the beginning of that first year. During the year, the mentoring family will be available for questions, support, and guidance.
On Monday, August 6, 2012 Parent Council will host a casual dessert and coffee reception for parents in The Williams Parker Library from 6:30-7:30 PM. This special night will give our new moms and/or dads an opportunity to meet their mentors for the year. Headmaster, Mike Notaro, and Parent Council President, Marcy Sizemore, look forward to welcoming you and presenting important information for the school year.
