Virtual Bookstore:

• All Student EZ Drop Buyback, Tues., May 22 and Wed., May 23, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Williams-Parker Library. Remember to visit the Brookwood Virtual Bookstore to create a buyback quote, which you will need to bring with your books. Brookwood will mail textbooks to MBS.  You will be able to access this site in July to determine exact book lists for each course.  There are several changes in paperback books.  However, there are limited changes in hardback textbooks - Physics, Social Studies 6 and Social Studies 7 will be new texts next year. 
• Summer Reading - an informational email will be sent out next week with details about purchasing your student's summer reading books.

This year's auction netted over $80,000!!  Auction funds benefit our entire school and this year will help implement our new iKids 1.0 program that will place iPads in the Lower School and Mac Books in the Middle School.

Varsity Golf Team finishes 4th at State: Taylor Patterson, Luke Howard, Carter Reed, Ben Braswell, Rand Malone, Garrett Harvard, Chandler Barnes, Walker Harvard, Cole Jarrett, and Hayes Eiford.

Mrs. Cauley's 8th grade English classes celebrated the end of the year with an abbreviated performance of William Shakespeare's romantic comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream. This classic tale of what happens when the fairy and mortal worlds collide was performed for parents and classmates Thursday morning in Chubb Hall.

The Varsity Baseball Team has advanced to the semifinal round of the GISA State Playoffs! We will host Windsor Academy on Sat., May 19, at Noon, with a 2nd game at 3:00 p.m. If necessary, they will play again on Mon., May 21, at 2:00 p.m. Come out and support these Warriors! Please remember that Booster Club passes are not valid for these games.

Physicals will be given for returning student athletes on Tuesday, May 22, at 5:30 pm in the Commons Area of Flowers Hall. Although there is no charge for the physicals, the physicians are requesting a donation be made to the Boosters. Please note that any student who plans to play any sports, including the Youth and Middle School levels, during the next school year, will need to have a new physical on file before practice or play is allowed.
