LIndsey Holleger (pictured here with her mother Dayle and horse, Fenway) competed at the World Dressage Masters in Wellington, Florida, over Spring break, winning both the Junior Individual Test and Junior Team Test. Dayle said, "they played the National Anthem for her twice. It was just amazing!"
The 7th Grade class travelled to Jekyll Isand April 15-17 to
study coastal ecology. It looks like they had fun!
On April 23 and 26, 4th grade students participated in a video conference with students from other schools who are studying Spanish. Mrs. Collin's class skyped students from Wardlaw Hartridge School in Edison, N.J., to speak and exchange information about themselves in Spanish. Students took turns asking questions about their name, age, date of birth, and interests.
Mrs. McCall's 2nd Grade class visited the Florida Capitol in celebration of the National Day of Prayer, Thurs., May 2. Pictured below, her class dressed up as characters on Character Book Day in the Williams-Parker Library.

Congratulations to Maureen Harrer and Karen Stauffer for a wonderful art exhibit and reception at the Thomasville Center for the Arts on April 22! The k-12th grade student art work, representing the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods, were enjoyed by parents, grandparents, students, SAIS Committee visitors, and Brookwood faculty. The roasted pig and costumes set the perfect tone for the exhibit. Thanks to Stefan Ughetto (pictured below with his daughter Meta) for preparing the pig. Congratulations to Brookwood's All Region Tennis players: Jud Jones (far left) was runner up in men's singles, Ariel Watt (2nd from left) and Ashley Green (far right) placed 3rd in women's doubles, and Rachel Cooper (2nd from right) placed 1st in women's singles. Coach Kendon Warren (in front) is holding the team's trophy for placing 2nd in Region.
After winning 1st place in singles at the Region Tennis Tournament, Rachel Cooper (pictured here with her father Chris) went on to the State Individual Tournament on April 22 in Macon, placing 2nd in State.
