Brookwood’s prom has African theme
April 2, 2010

Juniors and seniors at Brookwood School donned elegant evening attire to attend the March 27 prom. The junior class conducted several fund-raising projects throughout the school year to foot the bill for the gala event. The 11th grade students decorated the Uno Hill Barn at Pebble Hill Plantation to carry out the theme, "Out of Africa." Thanks to Harden's Taxidermy of Thomasville, the students used authentic animals to bring a realistic feel to the safari décor.

Hayes Balfour, Margaret Hancock and Katherine Wolff took a breather during the "work day" before the prom when the Brookwood junior class decorated the Uno Hill Barn at Pebble Hill for the Brookwood prom, carrying out the theme, "Out of Africa."

After decorating for the Brookwood prom, Margaret Hancock and Katherine Wolff donned their formal dresses to attend the event with their dates, Henning Herrin, left, and John Ashton.
