Brookwood's Debate Team competed at the Warner Robbins Debate Tournament last Saturday.  Our 5 novice teams ended up the tournament with a record of 6-4.  Two of our novice teams went undefeated in their two preliminary rounds.  Our two varsity teams placed third and fourth in the tournament.  The Debate team is made up of: Chris Alexander, Grace Allen, Hinson Arwood, Jackson Brannon, Sarah Chason, Olivia Howell, Madeline MacQuirter, Will McGregor, Elin McGregor, Payton Patterson, Cory Sigler, Danny Steinberg, Chase Tenewitz, Nathan Walter, and Katherine Wolff.  The team is coached by Mr. Phil Danner.  This year's debate topic is: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase social services for persons living in poverty in the United States.
