Brookwood School's 2009 Homecoming Queen is Courtney Stephens, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Sykes of Thomasville. She was escorted by her father and crowned by the Brookwood 2008 Homecoming Queen, Jordan Bell, at halftime during the Brookwood vs. Maclay football game Friday night. The Brookwood Warriors won over the Maclay Marauders 21-7.

Chris Bragg, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Chip Bragg of Thomasville, wore the traditional feathered headdress as the 2009 Warrior Spirit Chief during halftime at the annual Powder Puff football game on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The event was part of the weeklong Homecoming activities at Brookwood, with the theme "Wild, Wild Warriors." The independent school is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
