Brookwood is located on the south side of Thomasville, Ga., with nine buildings on more than 40 acres of land among tall pines and live oaks. The beautifully landscaped campus includes fields for football, soccer, baseball, and softball in a natural valley setting. A track, an outdoor basketball court, and a well-equipped athletics center are available for physical education, strength training, and recreation.

Playgrounds adjacent to the Lower School provide an inviting variety of recreational structures for younger children to engage in creative play.

Brookwood classrooms in the Lower, Middle and Upper schools feature stations equipped with computers and audiovisual equipment, allowing the faculty to use a wide variety of media via the SMART Board. These large interactive whiteboards present a computer's output as a touch-sensitive display to more actively engage students in the teaching-and-learning process.

Buildings on campus enclose a central quadrangle, which serves as an outdoor commons area for the school community.

Brookwood Warrior fans cheer the basketball team in a large gymnasium facility that also houses six classrooms, a stage, and the cafeteria.

The Upper School building opened in fall 2008 with nine large classrooms, two technologically equipped science labs, and a central commons area.

Biology and chemistry laboratories in the Middle School's science center contain scientific experiment and research equipment, and a weather station is attached to the building.

Six Middle School classrooms are located in the administrative building with an indoor commons area and a state-of-the-art computer center. Flanking this central structure are the arts pavilion, library, and Preschool building, each connected by a breezeway.

The spacious art studio employs natural light and features equipped areas for pottery and photography, with an adjacent patio for outdoor art.

The library provides separate sections for Lower, Middle and Upper School students. Electronic research equipment gives faculty and students immediate access to needed information. The library is designed for optimal comfort, private study, leisure browsing, and easy use by all ages.

With classrooms for first through fifth grade, the Lower School building is focused around a large, open learning area used for enrichment activities, such as computer instruction, drama, art, and music presentations.

The Preschool facility includes four classrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The atrium area provides a charming space for children's presentations.

In choosing Brookwood, parents are assured that their child will be educated in a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment.
