Cody Parrish, a junior, on his horse "All The Sudden" (aka: "Martin") placed 3rd in 15-18 Youth Western Pleasure at the 2011 All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio. This show is the largest single breed show in the world with over 13,000 total entries from the USA, Canada and numerous other countries.
McKenna Vance, a sophomore, has qualified to attend the AKC Eukanuba Classic Invitational Dog Show held in Orlando this Dec., by being ranked top in the nation this year. The nation's largest and most prestigious show, exhibits the best dogs in the world. Jack, pictured above, is ranked one of the top Kerry Blue Terriers in the nation.

Tyler Quinet broke the Varsity Football Single Season Rushing Record with 1830 yards. This record has been held since 1986, by Kevin Vick, who presented the award to Tyler at the Varsity Football Assembly on Tues., Nov. 29.
Tyler Quinet, Taylor Bragg and Chase Tenewitz have been selected as GISA Football All Star Players. Coach Robert East was also honored by the GISA to serve as an All Star coach. He coached the linebackers for the blue team at the All Star Game last Sat. at Mount de Sales Academy. Taylor and Tyler were injured prior to the game and unable to play. Chase had 4 solo tackles, aiding the blue team to an easy victory. The players and coaches are selected from all of the football programs throughout the state of Georgia. These are the most players we have had selected since 2007. |
