BROOKWOOD WINTER HOLIDAY - FEBRUARY 10 AND 13
FROM THE HEADMASTER...
Last week was a great week for Brookwood School. Our girls and boys basketball teams won their games on Friday night at SGA and thus advanced to the Regional Tournament on Thursday. The boys finished second in the region and the girls concluded the regular season in third place. Our hopes are that they will play strongly on Thursday and Friday and advance to the State Tournament next week.
At the same time that our basketball teams were winning on the court our Drama Guild was giving a magnificent performance of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in the Municipal Auditorium. With over one-third of our students involved in the musical and many more students, faculty and parents involved backstage or in other support roles, it was truly a community effort. The Drama Guild undertook a challenging musical and they performed it with consummate skill. Thomasville responded with a record attendance. Congratulations to all involved in this wonderful production that will most likely set a standard for our musicals.
ANNUAL PARENTS MEETING
The Board of Directors invites all parents and other members of the Brookwood community to the Annual Parents Meeting on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 7 p.m. in Williams-Parker Library. The School bylaws state, "The meeting shall be conducted informally for the purposes of communicating the affairs of the School to those present and of accepting input from parents who are present."

LOST AND FOUND
The school has a box of items from the Muncipal Auditorium that were found during the clean-up of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Please check in the front office if your child is missing anything.
