Please consider joining the Brookwood Drama Guild on its trip to an enchanted French provincial village.  Beauty and the Beast presents the story of Belle, a lovely young girl who lives with her father, a dotty inventor.  When her father does not return from a trip to the local fair, Belle rushes off to find him. To her dismay, she discovers he is being held captive in an old castle by a horrible Beast.  She trades her freedom for his and the tale as old as time begins.  The story presents the attempts of Belle to tame the unfortunate Beast and his ultimate transformation into a handsome prince.  Beauty and the Beast will be presented on February 3rd, 4th, and 5th, at the Thomasville Municipal Auditorium.  Please return a completed audition form to the front office by October 3rd for each actor.  Younger actors will be broken down into groups of ten and assigned approximate audition times on Saturday, October 8th.  Where possible, actors from the same family will be grouped together.  Grade levels may be mixed to help the audition process.  Upper School actors will be assigned times on Sunday, October 9th.  Actors from the Middle School may be placed on either day to balance the schedule. 

Once again, Mrs. Constance Clineman will serve as director.  Mrs. Beth Benton will join us as Costume Mistress and Mrs. Debbie Beeson will again be Stage Manager.  The Brookwood Drama Guild is open to all Brookwood students. If you are not interested in participating, please plan to join the Drama Guild as a part of the audience.
