Spanish 2:
We are working on a year long project which is a scrapbook about themselves.  It involves the use of Present, Preterite, and Future tenses and an abundance of new vocabulary.

Spanish 3:
Students are enjoying a project entitled "Buen Provecho" (Good Appetite) which are cooking demonstrations.  It's fun sampling the end results!

Spanish 5:
This class wrote a school newspaper in Spanish that was read by the Spanish 3 students.  It included school events (current and upcoming), an advice column, movie reviews, crossword puzzles, and interviews of staff and students.  There was also an article about what is fashionable these days.  There will be four papers this year.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The use of internet translation services  to do Spanish assignments is prohibited.  Students may use online dictionaries when working at home.  However, going to a translation site to have sentences and compositions change from English to Spanish is unacceptable.
Using these services amounts to taking someone else's work and claiming it as your own.

It is imperative that all foreign language students purchase an English/Spanish dictionary to have in class.
