Advanced Placement Offerings
Advanced Placement courses are offered in U.S. History, Art History, Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, English Literature, and Composition, European History, Studio Art - Drawing, and Studio Art - General. Additional AP courses are offered according to student interest. All students enrolled in AP courses are required to take AP exams.

Advanced Placement Scholar Awards

From 1996 through 2005 Brookwood has had:

23 AP Scholars
- Granted to students who receive grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams in full-year courses

15 Scholars with Honors
- Granted to students who receive an average of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams in full-year courses

20 Scholars with Distinction
- Granted to students who receive an average of 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams in full-year courses
