The Middle School Track teams competed in the region track meet in Albany at Hugh Mills Stadium. Elise McPherson placed 1st in the 1600 meter dash and Ella Grace Squires placed 1st in the 400 meter dash.
Congratulations to Abby Bustle who placed first in the 100 meter dash at the Region track competition. The Varsity track team will go on to compete in the State track competition Thursday, April 27th.» read more
Middle School Golf
Brookwood defeated Tiftarea on Tuesday at the Golf Club of South Georgia. Franklin Beverly was a low medalist with 36. Katherine Cook had 39 while Sally Powell shot 43. Ross Murphy and Eli Harrell shot 55. Brookwood’s score was 173 while Tiftarea shot 202. Brookwood will compete in the region championship next Wednesday at the Golf Club of South Georgia.

The Brookwood varsity golf team defeated Crisp Academy and Southland on Thursday at Griffin Bell Golf Links. Brookwood shot a 320 and was led by low medalist Hill Turner with 73. Sam Barrett shot 81 while Chip Thompson and George Arline shot 82 and 84, respectively.

Varsity took two-time defending champion, Deerfield, down to the wire. We just couldn’t add a couple more runs and hold the lead going against the Knights. We played very well defensively, and Eli pitched a great game and just running out of pitches in the 7th. Knifer came in to finish the inning.

The Middle School baseball team lost to Bainbridge by a score of 8-3. Offensively, Colin Clark was one for two with a run scored, Will Cook was one for three with a run scored, and Josh McCaskill scored another run. Pitchers threw strikes, but just gave up too many hits to hold off Bainbridge.

Middle School Basketball
The Brookwood Lady Warriors had two main goals this season: to have a perfect season and win the title again. And that they did, wrapping up their season with another title and and impressive 18-0 record for the year and an even more impressive 35-1 record for the past two years. The region playoffs started slow for the Lady Warriors as they took on Valwood in the first round only winning by 10. Erin Lewis led in scoring with 13, Ann Jackson 9 points, Jordan Burns 6 points, and Abby Lee with 4 points.
