Bill grew up in the small, north Georgia town of Greensboro and graduated from Nathanael Greene Academy. From there, Bill traveled across the state and was a cum laude graduate from the University of West Georgia. Bill then went on and received his Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Piedmont College in Athens, Georgia.
There was never any doubt where Bill would begin his career. He felt the need to give back to the school that gave so much to him for 14 years. Bill spent the first six years of his educational career at his alma mater, Nathanael Greene Academy. He taught middle and high school social studies and was the Head Varsity Football, Boys Varsity Basketball, and Track coaches.
Bill has now been apart of the Brookwood faculty since the fall of 2013. While at Brookwood, he has taught middle and upper school social studies. These subjects in include 7th grade World Geography and Culture, 8th grade United States History, and 9th grade Economics. Bill’s role also includes coaching many sports such as football, basketball, and track and field.
While not at Brookwood, you can find Bill spending time with his beautiful wife, two adorable daughters (Braelyn ‘30 and Hannah Kate), or working out either at Brookwood or at the YMCA.
